Our client, a leading Fintech delivers world-class financial services to the mobile generation and they are passionate about our customers, fearless in the face of barriers, and driven by data. They are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our client's cloud infrastructure and DevOps operations. In this role, you will oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless orchestration of workloads across Kubernetes and serverless environments like AWS Lambda.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and driving the adoption of DevOps best practices. collaborating closely with the Engineering, Product, and Data teams, you’ll contribute to scaling our infrastructure and supporting our rapid growth.

â Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices and modern tools, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
â Manage and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes to maintain high availability and performance.
â Build, monitor, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and accelerate deployments.
â Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
â Implement security best practices, including IAM configurations, VPC design, and automated compliance checks, to safeguard infrastructure.
â Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide infrastructure support and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
â Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring knowledge-sharing across the team.
â Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Requirements
â A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation.
â Extensive experience working with AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and ECS.
â Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code, with a deep understanding of best practices for managing cloud resources.
â Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and maintenance of containerized applications.
â Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, to automate tasks and workflows.
â Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline deployments.
â Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch to ensure system reliability.
â Strong understanding of security principles, including IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance enforcement.
â Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Enthusiasm for working across cultures, functions, and time zones to drive alignment and deliver results.
