For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer roles, focused on development, automation and production deployments;
• Strong command of with Java 21 and SpringBoot, applied to Microservices-based solutions;
• Hands-on work with infrastructure automation and environment management using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform (IaC);
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Bash, Python scripting, version control with Git, and SQL databases;
• Use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab, along with SSL/TLS certificate management;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab;
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and messaging systems like RabbitMQ and/or AmazonMQ (Plus)
• Understanding of Jfrog, ArgoCD, Helm, and Istio (Plus)
• Experience with monitoring and logging using Datadog is a nice-to-have, and code quality/security tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx) (Plus)
• Fluency in English (B2 Level or above) and Portuguese (C1 Level) is required;
• Availability for hybrid work in Lisbon (candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
