We are building the next-generation SaaS platform in the banking and lending space, empowering financial institutions with innovative tools to drive efficiencies, enhance customer experiences and ensure compliance. As a DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure and automation across our cloud-native platforms. You’ll drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and security posture, collaborating closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership. You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define best practices for infrastructure, automation, and security.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes and CloudFormation/CDK
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other automation tools
• Champion DevSecOps culture by embedding security into development workflows (e.g., code scanning, vulnerability assessments)
• Manage multiple AWS environments for cost optimization and performance
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Collaborate with product, development, and security teams to align infrastructure and security priorities
• Drive incident response, postmortems, and follow-up actions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring and onboarding processes
• Document systems, processes, and decisions to support knowledge sharing

Qualifications

What we're looking:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles supporting SaaS platforms
• Strong proficiency in AWS CloudFormation, CDK, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Policy as Code
• Proven ability to design and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable

Brownie points:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container-based architectures
• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
