Ever wondered what it feels like to be a DevOps Engineer in Netcompany?

Joining us as a Junior DevOps Engineer you will become part of agile, highly skilled SW Product Development teams that design, develop, deploy, and support web and digital applications for various industries (FinTech / Betting / Insurance / Telecommunications / Utilities / Retail / EU Institutions / Public Sector Digital Transformation).

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Work within an agile team that supports the lifecycle of development, deployment and testing web and backend applications by using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices Architecture, Docker, Kafka, Redis, Elastic, Kubernetes, Cloud Environments and many more
  • Perform a full range of complex CICD tasks using a variety of related technologies (Git, Jenkins/Groovy, Nexus, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and propose solutions
  • Be up to date, learn and gain experience in new technology stacks

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant disciplines
  • Relevant working experience as DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or similar of at least 1 year.
  • Experience with containers (e.g.  Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Familiarity in building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and Teamwork
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & oral)
