We are seeking a results-driven DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and security automation with an excited initiative to explore AI and AI-Ops innovations that improve performance, reliability, and efficiency. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive scalability, compliance, and intelligent automation across hybrid platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP infrastructure.
  • Enforce configuration standards, compliance checks, and policy-as-code practices.

Cloud Engineering (Azure & GCP)

  • Architect and manage scalable, secure environments (AKS, GKE, App Gateway, VNets, VPCs, NSGs, Key Vault, Cloud KMS, Managed Identities).
  • Implement governance, cost optimization, and compliance controls across subscriptions and projects.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Build and optimize Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across multi-cloud environments.
  • Implement blue/green, canary, and rollback deployment strategies with integrated observability and alerting.
  • Experiment with AI-driven automation to optimize pipelines, detect anomalies, and enhance release reliability.

DevSecOps & Security

  • Integrate vulnerability scanning, static/dynamic code analysis, and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and keys using secure vault solutions (Azure Key Vault, GCP Secret Manager).
  • Collaborate with security teams to align infrastructure with FedRAMP, FIPS, ISO, and PCI standards.

Monitoring, AI-Ops & Reliability

  • Implement proactive monitoring using Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics
  • Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to AI-Ops initiatives—including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and automated incident correlation—to reduce manual effort and prevent outages.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

  • Partner with product, security, and engineering teams in agile ceremonies to plan, deliver, and continuously improve.
  • Participate in release management, sprint planning, retrospectives, and post-incident reviews.
  • Promote a culture of automation, intelligence, and proactive reliability across the engineering organization.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise in Azure and GCP cloud architecture and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Familiarity with AI-Ops concepts, monitoring, and event-correlation systems.
  • Experience implementing security frameworks (FedRAMP, FIPS, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Proficiency in scripting ( Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on accountability and delivery.

Desired Behaviours

  • Ownership: Takes responsibility for end-to-end delivery and operational excellence.
  • Innovation: Excited to explore and apply AI and AI-Ops to optimize DevOps workflows.
  • Collaboration: Builds trust across teams; communicates transparently.
  • Adaptability: Adjusts quickly to new priorities, tools, and emerging technologies.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactively explores automation, intelligence, and new DevSecOps practices.
  • Security Mindset: Integrates security controls into every phase of the development lifecycle.
  • Outcome Focus: Measures success through reliability, speed, cost efficiency, and innovation.
