DevOps Application Developer

Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive development lifecycle support across all environments, including production support, while adhering to industry best practices and internal standards. Serve as the single point of contact and administrator for Azure DevOps within the organization, managing all projects across various levels and leveraging its diverse functionalities to meet organizational requirements. Develop and document workflow within Azure DevOps to streamline deployment processes, ensure alignment with company audit compliance standards and provide comprehensive documentation for reference. Assist with deployments and resolve escalations across all environments. Lead assigned projects by identifying necessary tasks and timelines, ensuring adherence to project goals. Assist users in resolving issues and identifying necessary changes to address root causes. Integrate third-party applications, such as Redwood Scheduler and Informatica, into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and ongoing support for these integrations. Collaborate with developers, technical IT staff, and contractors to define requirements and ensure successful implementation. Apply innovation and creativity to enhance the development lifecycle and solve technical challenges while staying updated on new technologies. Recreate user steps to diagnose issues and rewrite programs to correct errors. Evaluate and implement technical solutions for application issues, ensuring system functionality meets the requirements. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to maintain system reliability and efficiency. Support critical business processes requiring technical solutions that span multiple functions. Regularly monitor and report the project's status to management, proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may impede project success. Utilize monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor to track progress and performance across various projects efficiently.
Salary: $161,000 - $165,000
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field and four years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related software development role. Experience must include four years with each of the following: infrastructure, automation, and release operations; DevOps tool sets with Azure DevOps; applying scripting knowledge with tools, including PowerShell; and working with observability tools, including Azure Monitor/Splunk. Experience must include two years with each of the following: performing CI/CD Pipeline automation and integration; project management for multiple deliverables; and performing virtualization and containerization. Experience may gained concurrently.
