About the role
DevOps is about transforming the functional work experience between development and operations teams by breaking down silos between two traditionally separate roles. We are currently seeking candidates for our multi-disciplinary team within the Core Technology Services (ITS CTS) portfolio. The focus for this role is IT Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and covers all areas of IT infrastructure, and candidates from many backgrounds are encouraged to apply!
What you will do
By joining the Container Orchestration Services, MidTier and Automation (COSMA) team, you will be part of a Scrum development squad that has already begun breaking down barriers and preconceptions of what it means to “operate” IT infrastructure. Your role is to share and apply your expertise and experience, to deliver value through every sprint.
We offer opportunities for close collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues, inside and outside of the team. We reward experimentation, and we drive the change of how we do our IT business.
Our mandate is to bring self-service IT infrastructure to our organization, made available by exploiting the use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Join us and take your career to the next level. Acquire a new generation of IT skills that are sought after and highly prized. Consider this opportunity as investing in yourself.
What you need to succeed
You are a self-starter with the ability to quickly grasp the essence of complex issues. As an effective communicator, you clearly convey key points in a style appropriate to a variety of audiences.
You are bright, self-motivated, and independent. You will actively contribute to creating positive team dynamics by engaging in productive and respectful conversations, helping team members who may be struggling and having a positive attitude towards the team's goals.
The successful candidate has:
Nice-to-have
Your education and experience
Your combined education and work experience demonstrate your ability to effectively learn and apply new technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. Although the position language requirement is English or French essential, we do encourage everyone to improve their second language proficiency for future career growth and to contribute towards fostering a bilingual environment.
