Job Description

This is a brand new, high-priority project. This team will be responsible for aggregating data sources to create a clear picture of what infrastructure was requested, what infrastructure was deployed, and proactively alert on any discrepancies. The team's application will then be used by subject matter experts to investigate, create, and iterate on best practices and deployment rules. Then, the team will proactively identify and alert when requested or provisioned infrastructure breaks those best practices and rules. This team must interact with many stakeholders from across the organization and iterate as frequently as possible.

As a DevOps-focused Software Engineer, you will design and maintain the infrastructure that powers aggregation and compliance services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with customer environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
  • Manage and operate containerized environments (Kubernetes, Rancher).
  • Deploy and monitor workloads in AWS.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic APM).
  • Support compliant operations within customer ecosystems.
  • Clearly and concisely convey complex concepts to non-technical customers.

Skills Requirements:

  • Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Rancher, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic APM).
  • Experience with creating and maintaining compliant systems with our customer.
  • Bonus: NiFi and customer dataflow tools.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitLab.

YOE Requirement: 12 yrs, B.S. or 4 additional yrs in place of B.S.

Location: Columbia, MD

This position is 100% on-site. Applicants for positions requiring security clearance will be automatically rejected for candidates not meeting the Security Clearance requirement.
