
The Group Sales Division is a cross-organizational unit dedicated to expanding the membership value and ecosystem of the Rakuten Group, which encompasses over 70 services. We lead initiatives in branding, creative, marketing, and membership.
We consider the mobile sector to be the cornerstone of our ecosystem, and as the Group Sales Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.
The Device Business Department is an organization that handles the end-to-end process from adoption to sales for Rakuten Mobile's B2C products.
Within this department, the Device Strategy Section formulates the device portfolio and sales strategies for Rakuten Mobile's B2C Android smartphones, mobile WiFi routers, and other devices. To realize these strategies, we perform a wide range of tasks, including data analysis of market and sales trends, project management for new product launches by leading relevant departments, sales planning and inventory management, and business communication with various device manufacturers. We contribute to the B2C device-related business at Rakuten Mobile through the acquisition and retention of new customers, as well as revenue growth, by selling devices and providing value.
As a Manager candidate for the Device Strategy Section, you will be assigned the following duties based on your experience and skills. Depending on your experience, an assignment as a Manager is also possible.
As our organizational mission, we are looking for leaders who can actively formulate and promote strategies to acquire and retain new customers and increase revenue through the sale of devices and the provision of value.
*Experience as a Manager (Assistant Manager, Manager level or above) is welcome for all of the above.
