Your role and responsibilities

Working in a brand-new Agileorganization, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testingmethodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. In this role, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details, test sequences, testingmethods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentationto be used.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Business area in particular for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo. Main stakeholder is the Research and Development Department.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Planning and implementing test plan, assigning the right priority and overseeing the allocated resources.

• Training new team members in test operations and processes.

• Handling machine to machine protocol of communication.

• Preparing, reviewing, managing and updating documents and databases

• Proposing improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment.

• Assisting external certification inspectors during testingactivities for ABB products and external customer products.

• Ensuring that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported.

Qualifications for the role

• High School Diploma in computer science.

• You have at least 1-2 year of experience in laboratory or R&Ddepartment, working as operator with software testingand development.

• Ability to demonstrate your experience of programming languagesand cybersecurity

• You have knowledge of instrumentationand electronic.

• You are qualified in executing buildup of set up and system of testing.

• You have a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

• You are at ease communicating in Italian and Englishlanguage.

• Company defined package above minimum annual salary per CBA

• Variable Pay:Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
