Job Description

The Configuration / MDM Engineer works with Delivery Leads, POS teams, Infrastructure, and Security teams to configure, manage, and support endpoint devices across pilot and production environments. The role involves device onboarding, policy management, zero‑touch provisioning, production support, and enabling secure, compliant device operations for business applications such as POS.

• Configure and manage endpoint devices using MDM/UEM platforms
• Support device onboarding, provisioning, policies, profiles, and compliance rules
• Implement zero‑touch / automated device enrollment workflows
• Configure kiosk and single‑purpose device setups
• Support device rollouts, pilot launches, go‑lives, and hypercare
• Integrate and support peripherals (printers, scanners, payment devices)
• Troubleshoot device, configuration, and connectivity issues
• Ensure device security, compliance, and stability in production environments
• Collaborate with POS, infrastructure, security, and operations teams
• Maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
• Provide technical inputs during pre‑sales solution discussions (as needed)

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in device configuration, MDM, or endpoint management roles
• Experience with Workspace ONE / Omnissa UEM / Horizon
• Hands‑on experience managing enterprise or retail endpoint devices
• Strong understanding of device lifecycle management and configuration workflows
• Experience supporting production environments and rollout activities
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, certificates)

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Apple device management experience (iOS / iPadOS)
• Exposure to Apple Business Manager (ABM) and zero‑touch provisioning
• Kiosk mode, single‑app, or restricted device configurations
• Experience supporting POS or store devices in retail environments
• Peripheral integration experience (printers, pin pads, scanners)
• Exposure to PCI‑compliant or regulated environments
• Automation or scripting exposure (PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs)
