The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of distribution center operations, can coach and lead a team of exempt and non-exempt associates, and helps establish an environment of continuous improvement. The ability to form teams, empower others, communicate effectively, have great listening skills, and hold others accountable while adapting to a fast pace retail/distribution center environment. The Sr. Operations Manager will have responsibilities for the daily operation of multiple departments as well as providing guidance and leadership to distribution center managers to ensure the accomplishment of overall goals. Responsibilities • Reports generally include operation managers with indirect reports including operation supervisors and upwards of 200 non-exempt associates within the DC.

• Day-to-day oversight of multiple DC departments for an entire shift or across shifts.
• Oversight of regulatory compliance as it relates to promoting a safe environment.
• Ownership of continual process and operational improvement.
• Oversight of facility upkeep as well as cleanliness and organization.
• Budget development and performance metric reporting and analysis.
• Workforce planning and staffing.
• Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
• Partners with Director and leadership team to develop and implement standard process approach to achieve supply chain excellence from factory to customer.
• Recommends and initiates appropriate actions to increase sales, decrease expenses and improve profitability.
• Initiates proactive partnerships with vendors, merchants, replenishment and stores organizations to ensure seamless communication and achievement of business goals.
• Drives DC strategy for the company and translates that into a functional plan for managers, supervisors, and their direct reports.
• Ability to lead a total operation to meet productivity targets.
