Eliot is seeking dedicated Development Specialists to join our Early Intervention (EI) program. Eliot's Early Intervention Program supports children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities in the Everett, Malden, and Medford area. Our multidisciplinary team delivers community-based therapeutic interventions using a coaching model with parents and caregivers. As a Development Specialist, you will participate in screenings, assessments, office and home visits, child and parent groups, while providing service coordination and consultation on clinical and developmental matters for families.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, screen, and evaluate the performance of infants and children using industry-standard measures
  • Develop and ensure follow-up on treatment goals from the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in the home, in accordance with funding requirements, clinical best practices, and family collaboration
  • Provide intervention in areas such as cognition, social behavior, perceptual motor skills, and learning styles
  • Complete assessments, progress notes, and insurance verification reports within established timelines
  • Maintain client records in compliance with Department of Public Health and Eliot protocols

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development/Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working infancy/early childhood
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license
  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development/Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field a plus
  • Bilingual in Portuguese, Arabic or Haitian Creole preferred. Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase.

Compensation:

  • Bachelors: $48,000.00 annually
  • Masters: $55,000.00 annually

Schedule Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
