
Join a team of dedicated support for individuals who experience developmental disabilities in their home in Middlebury. The home offers a therapeutic and fun environment that incorporates such values as empowerment, choice and respect. This position provides direct care to the residents, and helps them build daily living/social skills and achieve personal goals according to their support plans. Patience, good judgment, attention to details and flexibility necessary. Experience with personal care and medical oversight for this population a plus. HS diploma/equivalent and good driving record required. 43.5 hours/week with 2 overnights (sleep overnight). Annual compensation 43.8K. A sign on bonus up to $500.

Some of her shifts include overnight hours—but with a sleeping night and a monitor alert in place, Peggy says the nights are quiet. “I’m often in bed by 8,” she says. “It’s peaceful.”

The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is a local community mental health center located in Middlebury, Vermont. Since 1959, CSAC has been an integral part of the Addison County community.
The Counseling Service offers a wide range of professional mental health and developmental services designed to meet the needs of those seeking help. We are able to provide a multi-disciplinary approach that draws on the expertise of our staff, which includes persons trained in developmental services, substance abuse treatment, psychiatry, psychology, mental health counseling, social work, family therapy, and child therapy.
