Job Description

Overall governance
• Cascade and implement the application/system development life cycle-related policies to subordinates and relevant stakeholders, in order to ensure that work practices are aligned with policies.
• Propose, periodically revise and gain approval on work processes and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
• Develop, propose, obtain approval, monitor and optimize utilization of unit’s resources and budget against company’s budget, to ensure optimization and the right prioritization of resources and budget.

Function-related accountabilities
• Translate internal and external customers' business requirements into technical solutions and provide alternative technical approaches to ensure the best-fit application/system development for various internal and external customers.
• Develop roadmap for new application/system development to ensure proper assignment allotment for team members to achieve projects' objectives.
• Track and monitor the status of application/system development, as well as perform complex activities in the application/system development life cycle (Full stack) to ensure application/system is completely developed and launched to meet/exceed customers' requirements and specifications in a timely manner and in accordance with agreements.
• Monitor and control activities in analyzing and testing application/system in a staging environment before formal launch and provide corrective actions, as necessary, to ensure products are free of errors and function as intended.
• Monitor and control activities in application/system performance tracking and maintenance of developed application/system, as well as provide innovative recommendations for modification/improvement in existing application/software, as necessary, to address and handle internal and external customers' concerns.
• Ensure quality of developed application/system and perform complex troubleshooting, debugging, updating, and upgrading existing application/software, as well as provide long-term solutions to prevent those issues to ensure application/software operates smoothly and efficiently for end-users and to ensure customers' satisfaction is fulfilled.
• Perform complex activities in application/system security monitoring to ensure private information and devices of end-users are ultimately secured.
• Keep abreast of new innovations and technologies to gain fresh and innovative approaches for application/software development processes improvement.
