The Development Specialist provides specialized support for Major Gifts and the Planned Gift teams. This individual can serve as a point of contact for major prospects and donors, helps to organize and execute high level events, prepares communication materials for meetings or presentations, and coordinates travel and track expenses for Major/Planned Gifts team(s). This position is key in the management of planned giving donor data in Raiser’s Edge, Bequest Manager, and other systems. This position supports the efforts of the AVP, frontline fundraisers, major-gift activity and campaign initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
3+ years fundraising experience
Proficient in Outlook, MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Has extensive knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
Experience with Bequest Manager, PG Calc and other relevant application software is a plus
