Job Introduction

As a Development Project Manager, you will be at the centre of our software product organisation. Working closely with Product Management, Product Owners and multiple development teams, you will steer product releases from planning to delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This role offers significant autonomy and responsibility. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, drives topics proactively and can confidently collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Tasks
  • Drive the successful delivery of software product releases within agreed timelines, budgets and quality targets
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Requirements Engineering and Product Owners to turn business goals into product outcomes
  • Coordinate multiple development teams and support them throughout the release lifecycle
  • Lead and facilitate activities related to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance, including vulnerability management and risk analysis initiatives
  • Continuously monitor product progress, performance indicators and release readiness
  • Communicate project status, achievements and key metrics to internal stakeholders and management
  • Drive continuous improvements within the Agile Release Train, including processes, collaboration and product increment delivery
  • Support the evolution of product analytics and reporting capabilities to enable more data-driven decisions
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, IT Security or a related technical discipline
  • Solid understanding of modern software development environments (e.g. Java or Kotlin)
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or similar collaboration platforms
  • Understanding of software dependency management, version control, and related tools (e.g. Git, Maven)
  • Knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • A structured, self-driven working style combined with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, personalities, and teams
  • Ability to break down complex topics, communicate them clearly, and drive them to completion
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)

Nice to Have
  • Several years of experience in software development, product ownership, or a similar technical role
  • Knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems
  • Interest in or exposure to software security topics, particularly vulnerability management and secure software development practices
  • Familiarity with common web and software vulnerabilities as well as security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and OWASP SAMM
  • Experience with REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), data modelling, or event-streaming technologies such as Kafka

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 46,202 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
