Salary: £50,000.00 to £70,000.00 (depending on experience)

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Duration: Permanent

About the role

Direct Corporate Risks part of our Lloyd & Whyte Specialist Broking Division, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Development Executive to join our RHA/Wasteinsure team in our Bolton office.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Development Executive to deliver successful New Business strategy within the Haulage/Transport/ Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction and High-Risk liability sectors.

You will work with our existing partners to deliver an exceptional experience to our target client base, with a focus on expertise, exceptional client service and the provision of market leading products

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering successful New Business strategy within Haulage/Transport/Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction or High-Risk Liability sectors, using your own contacts, and previous background
  • Building and maintaining relationships, finding new potential introducers to clients in the sector
  • Providing market leading risk management services, particularly with regards to motor fleet risks using our tech-enabled claims system which provides automatic insights and data to guide strategy
  • Identifying and generating own leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, introducers, partnerships. The business shall also provide leads to you to supplement your own activities
  • Responsible for keeping all Sales activity/ forecasting up to date on company CRM (SalesForce)

What you'll need to have

  • Expert knowledge of the UK Commercial Insurance Market
  • Proven success and demonstrable expertise within the above mentioned sectors
  • Highly Self-motivated & Enthusiastic
  • Ability to manage your own time and prioritise work without supervision, to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, numerate and accurate
