About the Team

We are looking for a motivated Development Engineer - Valves (m/f/d) at our home base in Augsburg. This is a rare opportunity allowing you to be involved in demanding development efforts that are supported by parallel test campaigns allowing us to close short-iteration development cycles at fast pace. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping production costs at an absolute minimum.

Your Tasks

• Design various fluidic components and valves
• Develop components from concept, through detailed design and production support to testing and integration
• Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system-reliability
• Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation of components and assemblies
• Collaborate with the production, testing and AIT teams
• Resolve non-conformances

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of professional experience in the design/development of valves. Student team experience and internships are considered a plus
• Good CAD skills (Siemens NX or other)
• Self-starter with minimal input
• Extremely proactive and always looking for the “what can be done next”
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Structured way of working
• Business level English
