WinGD is looking for a

Development Engineer Maintenance Tools

Location: Winterthur
Workload: 100%
Startdate: By agreement

Responsibilities:

  • Developing concepts and tools for the maintenance of 2-stroke marine engines
  • Elaborate 3D models, drawings and parts lists in NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM system
  • Carry out finite elements analysis with ANSYS FEM and evaluate the results (optional)
  • Cooperate with the local R&D team and work out suitable solutions
  • Handle incoming inquiries from customers (engine builders, shipyards, etc.)
  • Collaborate with our outsourcing partners in China, Korea and India and ensure best drawing quality
  • Manage the lifecycles of the engines with PLM system
  • Ensure quality control according to standards, guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Service engineer, mechanical engineer or assembly technician who is interested to work in the design area (hands on experience in heavy industries preferred)
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD (preferred NX) and Product Lifecycle Management (preferred Teamcenter) is benifical
  • Good command of English is mandatory, German language is beneficial
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn fast
  • Self-driven personality
  • Team player mentality
