You will work with production and business data, create meaningful insights and support process improvements through reporting and automation solutions. You will develop and maintain reporting solutions that support decision-making across the Tampere and Lapua pressure part production workshops
You will design and maintain data models and reporting structures that ensure reliable and accessible business information.
You will build, maintain and enhance Power BI reports, semantic models and KPI dashboards for areas such as production, quality and operational performance.
You will identify bottlenecks and support the development of digital solutions and automation tools.
You will collaborate with production, development and digitalization stakeholders and participate in the development of Valmet-wide digitalization solutions.
BSc or MSc degree in for example Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
Relevant experience through work, internships or summer jobs involving reporting, analytics, digital solutions or process development.
Understanding of manufacturing environments and industrial operations gained through practical experience.
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
Understanding of LEAN principles and continuous improvement is beneficial.
Good Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken.
You are interested in data, reporting and digital development and enjoy solving practical business challenges. You are eager to learn, take initiative and work closely with different stakeholders to improve processes and ways of working. You can translate data into insights and combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach. Previous exposure to manufacturing environments will help you understand how digital solutions create value in daily operations.
