All about the role:
As development engineer, you will be part of R&D organization and will be responsible for development of components and/or subsystems applied to CARE products from conceptualization to introduction in production throughout prototype and testing phases inside an international team
What you'll do:
Responsible for creating mechanical design solutions to meet specification requirements (technical and performance specification, functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, quality, cost, etc.)
Responsible for component design from conceptualization to industrialization, ensuring standardization & modularization approach.
Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining 3D and 2D models in CAD (PLM).
Responsible for defining test plan to assess and certify design robustness and adherence to specifications (collaborating with Development Lab and Quality organizations).
Support component supply specification and test manual definition for components/modules.
Drive analysis of technical solutions collaborating with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other involved functions.
Support component and product approval process: define components critical dimensions and critical characteristics; interpret inspection results and provide disposition (approve/reject/accommodate); support M&E on tooling approval process.
Support Technical Leader on project deliveries / documentation (product literature, BOM, technical manuals, etc.) / planning / prototyping.
Support Regional Product Care team on cost and quality improvement activities.
Drive proper external networking.
Who you are:
You are a curious and motivated engineer who enjoys turning ideas into tangible, reliable mechanical solutions. You combine solid technical knowledge with a hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset, and you feel comfortable working from early concept phases all the way to industrialization. You work well in international and cross‑functional teams, collaborating openly with colleagues, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
You pay attention to detail, take ownership of your components, and are driven by continuous improvement in cost, quality, and performance. You are eager to learn, open to feedback, and committed to delivering solutions that are robust, manufacturable, and aligned with Electrolux’s high standards.
Qualifications
Mechanical engineering degree (Master’s Degree and/or specialization degree is a plus)
0-3 years of working experience in mass production development
Knowledge on plastic injection moulding component &/or sheet metal stamped design
Good knowledge on CAD Modelling and Drafting (CatiaV5/NX is a plus)
Base Knowledge of FEA, Plastic Mold-flow, sheet metal formability simulation
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skill
Fluent English
Knowledge of: Cost & Quality analysis, Tolerance Analysis, FMEA, DFMA, 6 Sigma, Material and Process selection, IP, Prototype Building

You will be based at Electrolux office in Żarów, Poland.
