Young Life Northeast Texas Region is prayerfully seeking a Regional Development Director to join our fun-loving, collaborative, “kid-first” leadership team. The mission of Young Life to is introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith
The Northeast Texas Young Life Region is known for its trailblazing work serving under resourced populations and a diverse group of kids, through focus ministries. Current ministry in active areas include service to high school, middle school, and college aged students, with focused ministries to teen parents and friends with special needs. With dynamic energy for growth, this region is seeking a new leader for this new position, to ensure Young Life is in every community - reaching every kind of kid.
The Development Director will focus on fundraising strategies to advance ministry across forty counties, including under-resourced areas, ministry start ups and ministry initiatives. They will be responsible for leading and managing the region’s fund development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the mission of Young Life and a proven track record in fundraising. They will have a heart for faith-based philanthropy, be a visionary communicator, and be highly relational. Key attributes of success in this role will center around growth in annual support, as well as a widening of the donor base.
