Title: Development Associates

Reports to: Director, Development

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Associate Program Summary:

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Associates Program is designed to further support the mission of LADF by assisting with the foundation’s work across all of its functional areas: development, programs, and operations. Associates also actively engage with the local community and expand the reach of the organization’s impact throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

The LADF Associates Program is a highly competitive, paid, year-long program designed to provide college, graduate, and recent graduate students with both professional and personal development in a nonprofit sports team foundation setting. While Associates will have a specific department focus, they will work across all LADF’s departments, gaining insight into its programs, development, and operations.

We are seeking individuals who align with our mission and core values and are ready to join us in this exciting and important work.

Please note that the 2026 Associates Program will be in-person and will follow all LA County health and safety guidelines. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

LADF Offices are located at 100 N. Crescent Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, additional work locations may include Dodger Stadium and within the greater Los Angeles community.

Organization Summary

Under its new strategic plan, “Lasting Impact for Los Angeles,” LADF is amplifying best practices, scaling solutions, growing its capacity, and refining its work with investments exceeding $76 million in its programs and grants to local organizations. To date, LADF has positively impacted over 11 million youth. LADF is the proud recipient of ESPN's Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year, Robert Wood Johnson Sports Award, Beyond Sport's Sport for Reduced Racial Inequalities Collective Impact Award, and the Aspen Institute Project Play Champion.


The Development department is seeking Associates for the following roles:

  • Corporations, Foundations and Individuals (CFI) - 1
  • In-Stadium Fundraising & Auctions (ISFA) - 1
  • In-Stadium Fundraising Operations & Activations (ISFOA) - 1

Corporations, Foundations and Individuals (CFI)

CFI Associate will support LADF’s corporate, foundation and individual fundraising. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, writing, and storytelling, and wants to learn how nonprofit development teams cultivate support from corporations, foundations, and individuals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors to identify funding opportunities.
  • Enter account records and contact information into Salesforce, tracking cultivation and solicitation status; pull reports for development team to review prospective funder pipeline and adjust statuses as needed.
  • Assist with drafting personalized outreach materials and correspondence for donor cultivation.
  • Develop draft timelines, draft copy, and prepare materials for the giving campaigns, sponsor recap reports and presentations.
  • Support tax acknowledgement and donor recognition processes.
  • Support with tracking sponsorship deliverables and ensure timely completion of commitments across departments.
  • Maintain organized digital files and ensure all supporting materials are properly saved and accessible.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In-Stadium Fundraising & Auctions (ISFA)

The ISFA Associate will support the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s live, silent, and online auctions, alongside in-stadium fundraising throughout the year. This role is ideal for someone who understands the sports memorabilia market and enjoys fundraising and donor engagement while managing logistics and operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft auction item descriptions, bid sheets, and online posting of auction items.
  • Track and reconcile post-game auction data, sales totals, and inventory.
  • Support with preparing content and copy for marketing assets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and donor engagement during auctions.
  • Track sales performance and revenue within Salesforce and provide feedback to improve retail operations.
  • Draft opportunities to increase donor engagement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth auction execution and fulfillment in a timely manner.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In-Stadium Fundraising Operations & Activations (ISFA)

The ISFOA Associate will assist with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s retail and fan-facing activations, including trading cards, Homebase retail activation, and fan engagement events within Dodger Stadium. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with fans, is highly organized, and wants hands-on experience in retail, merchandising, and in-stadium fundraising.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the setup and operation of LADF retail and fan-facing fundraising activations and events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with post-game reconciliation.
  • Deliver excellent fan engagement and customer service during game days.
  • Conceptualize innovative retail items and fan engagement experiences to support LADF’s revenue goals and expand LADF’s donor base.
  • Draft signage and marketing graphics to promote in-stadium fundraising
  • Track sales performance and revenue within Salesforce and provide feedback to improve retail operations.
  • Support game day staff scheduling and coordination between all activations and events.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong interest in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or community development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in database management, CRM systems, or grant platforms preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience in research, administrative support, or project coordination is a plus.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current student OR within one-year post-graduation.
  • Must live, work, and have reliable transportation in Los Angeles for the duration of the program.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to advancing LADF’s mission.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Dodgers are members of the National League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB).
