About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Development Administrator to support the delivery of retail development projects across all stages of the development lifecycle. This is an administration-focused role providing critical coordination, reporting, and document control support to the Development Manager and wider project team.

You will work closely with consultants, contractors, leasing teams, centre management, and tenants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail development, construction administration, or project coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across retail development projects
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and document control systems
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, leasing teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Support leasing and tenant coordination, including tracking submissions and key dates
  • Assist with reporting, cost tracking, invoice processing, and approvals
  • Support meetings, governance processes, and project close-out activities

About You

Essential

  • Experience in retail property development, construction administration, or project coordination
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including tenants and leasing teams

Desirable

  • Experience on retail centres or large-format retail projects
  • Exposure to tenant fitout coordination
  • Experience with document control systems (e.g. Aconex, Procore)
  • Tertiary qualification in property, construction management, or project management
