About the role

As the Development Administrator, you will play a key role in English National Ballet’s Development team, with a particular focus on Corporate Partnerships and Trust and Foundation fundraising streams. You will support with a range of administration services including the allocation and smooth delivery of tickets, responding to enquires from supporters and providing logistical support for events. You will gain experience in arts fundraising, whilst learning about the key components of a development function within our renowned performing arts organisation.

This role is a 7-month, fixed term contract from September 2026 to March 2027.

Your main responsibilities as Development Administrator will include:
  • Help coordinate cross-organisational guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and guest biographies.
  • Support the Development Operations Manager and the Corporate Partnerships Account Manager with allocations and updates with venues, requesting e-tickets and circulating to relevant colleagues/supporters, and ensuring all ticket holds are accurately updated in ENB’s database, Beacon.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development Director and across the Development Team, such as booking meeting rooms, coordinating expense claims, arranging travel, assisting supporter visits, etc.
  • Attend events as required on evenings/weekends.
  • Ensure a professional and responsive service to all internal and external contacts.
  • Be an active member of the Development Team, representing the team at meetings and events, and acting as an ambassador for English National Ballet at all times.
  • Manage own learning and continuous professional development within the role, including any designated learning and development.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide a consistent standard of work, and to work to changed priorities when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high standard of written and verbal English.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
