About this opportunity:

You will join our Chengdu Radio System Design team, working on defining 5G radio system solutions and driving Layer 1, embedded control and HW/SW architecture to support product release, maintenance and customer needs.
You will be part of a collaborative, structured, quality-focused and learning-oriented environment that partners closely with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

  • Work as part of the Chengdu radio system design team to define and refine 5G radio system solutions across Layer 1, embedded control and HW/SW architecture.
  • Contribute to the integration of complex radio systems, ensuring compliance with LTE/NR standards and meeting customer performance and quality expectations.
  • Analyze system-level requirements, turn standards and specifications into practical system designs, and collaborate with HW, SW and test teams to secure end-to-end behaviors.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, drive structured problem solving and support product release, maintenance and customer needs.
  • Contribute to AI-driven product evolution and efficiency improvements in radio system design and operation.

The skills you bring:

  • Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong telecom system knowledge, with solid understanding of LTE and NR (5G) radio systems.
  • Solid digital signal processing background and ability to reason about system performance and trade-offs.
  • Proven system thinking and structured problem-solving skills, comfortable handling complex, cross-domain issues.
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to work effectively across HW, SW and system boundaries.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB and programming in C, Python or similar tools for system modeling, analysis and prototyping.
  • Experience in radio/RAN system design, baseband or PHY/L1 development, or related telecom domains (assumption based on 5G radio context).
  • Enjoys solving complex system-level problems and turning standards into practical, high-quality designs.
  • Comfortable coordinating work across functions and sites, contributing to cross-functional leadership and issue resolution.
  • Motivated by technology leadership, product impact and continuous learning in a collaborative, quality-focused team.
