Developer – Python for Data Science (Cloud ML Platforms)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer (Data Science & Machine Learning) to build, optimize, and deploy data-driven solutions across modern cloud platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with Python ML libraries, statistical modeling, and cloud-based analytics environments such as Azure Machine Learning Studio, Azure Databricks, GCP, and AWS

This role is suited for a developer who enjoys solving complex data problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable ML solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based machine learning pipelines using Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Statsmodels, and related libraries.
• Build, train, and evaluate ML models using industry-standard techniques and statistical methods.
• Work across cloud platforms ( Azure ML Studio, Databricks, GCP, AWS) to deploy and operationalize ML solutions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Teradata, and BigQuery
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct model evaluation, performance tuning, and documentation of ML workflows.
• Ensure best practices in coding, version control, testing, and cloud governance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies where beneficial.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in Python development, data science, or machine learning.
• Strong proficiency with ML libraries: Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Statsmodels
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (Azure ML Studio, Databricks, GCP, AWS).
• Strong SQL skills with exposure to Teradata and BigQuery
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work collaboratively in team environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with MLOps frameworks.
• Familiarity with distributed computing and large-scale data processing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for ML deployments.
