About this opportunity
Our PCB Design team is part of the radio design unit and takes the end‑to‑end responsibility for PCB design and quality assurance – from early concept and pre‑development through to volume products and field maintenance – and we drive global PCB technology and governance across Ericsson.
We are now looking for an experienced PCB designer to join our team in Yokohama, Japan. You will work in close collaboration with PCB Technology Specialists, Radio-, Digital-, Mechanical-, Thermal design and Production Engineers for an efficient Board Layout Design. Your role will include all development activities such as: Requirement Analysis, Product Lifecycle Management support and Technical Documentation. We organize in collaboration with multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and experience sharing is part of the daily work. You will work with cutting edge technology within the area.
Your main task will be planning and doing PCB design and routing based on input from Board-/schematic design. You will be using Cadence Allegro as CAD tool + an Ericsson Specific Library tool. You are requested to manage design constraints, floor plan analysis and layer/stack up analysis in your daily work. You will be part of a team with focus on different PCB design modules (RF, Digital, High speed, Memories, DC/DC, etc) and expected to be a good team player.
