Overview

As a Full Stack Developer who is Backend heavy, you’ll be part of an agile product team delivering new features to a suite of sustainability applications for our Payments, FinTech team. It owns Shared Wallet, a high-impact initiative covering tokenization of payment accounts, digital wallet (Apple Pay) APIs, offline payor capabilities, and related payment services. You will join a small pod as its senior technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design for Shared Wallet services, from architecture through rollout, and make and document key design decisions.
• Serve as the senior reviewer on pull requests, setting the bar for code quality, security, and test coverage.
• Lead resolution of complex production and integration issues across payment flows, using centralized logging and reporting to diagnose and prevent recurrence.
• Mentor the Developer I and Developer II on the team, including design reviews, pairing, and career growth.
• Partner with product, QA, architecture, and security on scope, estimates, and delivery, and keep the pod's commitments predictable.
• Build and ship features hands-on; this is a working lead role, not a management role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong
• C# and .NET Core backend development.
• Proven experience designing, building, and owning production REST APIs on .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and DynamoDB, including data modeling for NoSQL access patterns.
• Experience designing distributed, API-based systems with attention to reliability, idempotency, and failure handling.
• Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, and reporting for production support.
• Hands-on experience in payments or financial services (card/ACH processing, tokenization, PSP or gateway integrations, or digital wallets).
• Working knowledge of secure development for regulated data, ideally PCI DSS.
• Strong track record of code review, technical mentoring, and raising a team's engineering standards.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including documenting designs for cross-team review.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• FinTech background or payments domain experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as code, observability, and incident response practices.
