Infor’s Augmented Intelligence Services (AIS) team, part of the Velocity Suite organization, helps customers realize measurable business value through AI and machine learning solutions. Our portfolio includes solutions across areas such as pricing, product recommendations, forecasting, inventory optimization, customer intelligence, operational intelligence, inventory intelligence, and data intelligence.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our AIS team and manage customer-facing AI and machine learning projects from initial requirements through deployment, adoption, and value realization.

In this role, you will work as part of a small, highly collaborative, cross-functional team alongside data scientists, senior scientists, solution managers, product teams, and other internal stakeholders. You will take ownership of project delivery and the overall customer relationship, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned, challenges are addressed proactively, and customers successfully adopt the solutions delivered.

The ideal candidate brings solid experience managing IT or software projects, strong customer and stakeholder management capabilities, and previous exposure to AI-related projects, products, features, or technologies. Deep technical expertise in AI or machine learning is not required, but an understanding of the AI landscape and enthusiasm for working with data-driven solutions are essential.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes

• Managing AI and machine learning projects end to end, from requirements and planning through development, deployment, adoption, and value realization.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers and building trusted relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading regular customer and stakeholder discussions to review progress, align expectations, address challenges, and maintain project momentum.
• Working closely with data scientists, solution managers, product teams, Infor OS teams, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate successful project execution.
• Supporting proof-of-concept and subscription projects and ensuring clear ownership of activities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Helping remove blockers and proactively managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder concerns.
• Managing customer expectations around AI and machine learning capabilities and communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Supporting scientists and technical team members by facilitating coordination, customer engagement, requirements clarification, and stakeholder alignment.
• Driving customer adoption after deployment and helping ensure that solutions become embedded in customers’ day-to-day operations.
• Working with customers and internal teams to identify and track appropriate business outcomes and KPIs, such as cost reduction, revenue improvement, operational efficiency, or other agreed measures of value.
• Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality, accountability, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Contributing beyond assigned projects by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and collaborating across the wider AIS organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably within IT, software, technology, consulting, or a related environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through different stages of the project lifecycle.
• Previous exposure to AI-related projects, AI-enabled products or features, machine learning, Generative AI, or related technologies.
• Strong customer-facing experience with the confidence to manage regular interactions with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience navigating challenging situations, resolving issues, aligning expectations, and building effective working relationships.
• A solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English, as the role involves frequent interaction with international customers, primarily based in the United States.
• A proactive, accountable, and collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute beyond individual project responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing customer-facing AI, machine learning, analytics, data, or enterprise software implementations.
• Experience delivering projects within consulting, enterprise software, technology, or customer organizations.
• Familiarity with proof-of-concept projects and transitioning successful concepts into production or subscription engagements.
• Experience working with globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting customer adoption and measuring business value or ROI following implementation.
• Exposure to enterprise ERP environments or technologies such as Infor OS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with project management or work-tracking tools such as Jira is beneficial but not required.
