Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a DEV Engineer Consultant. As part of our consultancy team, you will be hired by Keystone Solutions to work on client projects, bringing your expertise to dynamic environments and contributing to innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Lead the setup of future applications and focus developments on delivering customer value and code quality.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet standards.
• Analyze and refine requirements to deliver new functionalities in a user-friendly and efficient manner.
• Champion code quality, organization, and automation, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Work on greenfield projects and hexagonal architecture, with TDD/BDD and pair programming as standard practices.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch, French, and English required.
• Active knowledge of at least one local language and passive knowledge of the other.

Work Location & Telework:

• 50% on site and 50% homeworking, based in Brussels.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Java development.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Spring (Boot), Maven, Java development with a focus on technical expertise, clean code, and refactoring monolithic applications.
• Strong understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle), messaging systems (Kafka), and service buses.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture, TDD, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus.
• Preferable: Experience with integration using various technologies (distributed/mainframe) and infrastructure components, ReactJS.

Business Experience:

• Mandatory: Knowledge of agile methodology.
• Proven experience in leading technical projects, setting technical direction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
