Salary: $64,792/year

Job Duties:

  • P rovides technical support and services to personnel at County detention facilities related to the use, operation, and upkeep of detention technology and physical security systems
  • P rovides initial review and coordination of support requests submitted by detention personnel and works with the Jackson County IT Department and approved external vendors as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Environmental Service or Computer science related field or five years work experience in a Detention facility.
  • Five or more years of experience working in a detention facility, with direct involvement in detention technology, physical security systems, or correctional operations.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to provide own transportation.
  • Ability to respond outside normal working hours for emergency support when required.
  • Must successfully submit to and pass a police background investigation and drug screening.
