About the Role

Ipswich Kia are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Detailer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of vehicles to dealership standards, supporting both the sales and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready for display and delivery to customers.

This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys hands‑on tasks, and understands the importance of vehicle presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Clean and detail vehicles for sales display, service, and delivery
• Repairing minor damage on vehicles (buffing and polishing - training provided to the right candidate)
• Perform interior and exterior cleaning, washing, vacuuming, and polishing
• Assist with buffing and paint correction where required
• Ensure vehicles meet presentation standards prior to customer handover
• Move vehicles safely around the dealership and preparation areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in vehicle detailing and minor repairs highly regarded
• Manual driver’s licence required
• Buffing and polishing experience desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Safety‑focused with a strong work ethic
