About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable and professional DET School Bus Driver to join our team at our Melton Depot.

In this rewarding role, you will safely transport students with disabilities to and from school. You will work closely with a dedicated Bus Chaperone, helping provide a safe, supportive and positive journey for every student.

This role offers 5.5 hours of work per day, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for meaningful work with consistent hours and a positive work-life balance.

Duties

• Safely transport students with disabilities to and from school.
• Work closely with a Bus Chaperone to support students during their journey.
• Help provide a safe, calm and welcoming environment on the bus.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Follow all road laws, safety requirements and company procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Current MR or HR Heavy Vehicle Licence.
• Current Driver Accreditation.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check.
• A caring, patient and professional approach.
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work well as part of a team.
