We are seeking a talented and passionate cook to join our kitchen team at Desperados. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our delicious street tacos while helping to maintain a fast-paced and efficient kitchen operation.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of street taco dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely, following health and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
• Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the management team.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
