Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods.

Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to work in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site.

This is a full time, permanent position working 3 on / 3 off days , 6am - 6pm.

Ensuring stock is rotated within department

Booking in stock and unloading/loading wagons

Picking and scanning to orders

Primary purpose is to ensure correct products are picked and quantities despatched.

Being accountable for ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.

Requirements

Qualifications And Experience:

• Standard level of education required
• Numeracy is essential
• Previous warehouse experience
• PPT desirable but not essential

• Strong work ethic
• Reliable and consistent in approach
• Methodical and pro-active in required activities
• Always have a “can do” attitude and be a team player to support the whole department
• Clear understanding of (English written and spoken)
• Adhere to business core values
