Our client is seeking two technicians to join the Deployment Team within End User Support (EUS). This team supports projects across the health system, including new clinic openings, technology deployments, and providing additional IT support at various entities when needed. Responsibilities can vary based on project demands, but the team is primarily responsible for preparing, imaging, configuring, deploying, and testing hardware prior to new facilities going live and seeing patients.
A large portion of the work involves hands-on physical tasks such as unboxing equipment, moving hardware, setting up workstations, and preparing devices for deployment. During this phase, consultants will work alongside and be trained by other technicians on the team.
Because this is supporting a major go-live initiative, the project will begin with unboxing equipment, removing or replacing existing devices, and preparing the hospital environment for deployment. The work will then transition into imaging devices, asset distribution, workstation setup, installation, testing (TDR), and go-live support.
Technicians will also assist with troubleshooting PCs, printers, peripheral devices, connectivity issues, application-related problems, Active Directory tasks, and basic Epic support. The environment includes Bomgar for remote support, Citrix, VDI, Vocera, badge access systems, and other end-user technologies.
