We're looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our Louisville office and work alongside a genuinely great group of people. This is a hands on, in office role where you'll be the go to person for keeping our team's technology running seamlessly day to day. You'll partner with our IT team, solve real problems for real people, and have the opportunity to grow in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide responsive, friendly technical support to employees. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues before they become bigger problems
• Own the onboarding and offboarding experience for employees, including account setup, permissions, and device configuration
• Set up computer stations and configure devices for new employees
• Support the administration and security of core IT systems, keeping things running securely and efficiently
• Support and maintain office LAN/WiFi infrastructure
• Support VoIP telephony and video conferencing services
• Maintain asset inventory, user documentation, and internal IT knowledge bases
• Partner with senior IT team members on system upgrades, automation projects, and integrations
• Assist with routine security tasks including device compliance checks and gathering audit artifacts for SOC 2 readiness
• Help enforce security best practices across the organization including endpoint compliance, access management, and policy adherence
• Identify and contribute to process improvements that make the employee experience smoother and more efficient
• Manage workload and track requests through the Jira ticketing system

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
• Solid understanding of macOS, Windows, and common cloud applications
• Familiarity with identity access management and endpoint management tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, NinjaOne, Intune, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly and process a high volume of information accurately
• A solid understanding of security best practices, including least privilege access and modern authentication concepts
• A genuine customer service mindset. You love solving problems and helping people
• Natural curiosity and a desire to keep learning; you adapt quickly in fast moving environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills. You keep things clear and nothing falls through the cracks
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage daily responsibilities effectively
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization
