About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will provide end-user support, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support:
Provide timely support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Installation & Configuration:
Set up and configure desktops, laptops, peripherals, and enterprise applications.

Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues related to systems, applications, and network connectivity (onsite and remote).

System Maintenance:
Perform routine updates, patches, upgrades, and backups to maintain system health and performance.

Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and IT assets. Contribute to knowledge base articles.

User Training:
Assist end users in improving their technical skills and understanding of systems and tools.

Collaboration:
Work closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to resolve complex issues.

Security Management:
Implement and maintain security policies, antivirus tools, and access controls.
Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Infrastructure Services
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, and peripherals
Experience with Active Directory, user management, and access control
Familiarity with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)
Hands-on experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
Good understanding of IT security practices and endpoint protection
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
