IT Deployment Technician (Medical Technology Implementation)

Location: Hospital Environment

Duration: 10-Week Contract

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Interviews late November- start date would be in December

Position Overview

Our healthcare client is seeking IT Deployment Technicians to support the implementation and deployment of new medical technology throughout a hospital environment. Technicians will assist with equipment installation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities while working closely with clinical staff and project teams. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on IT experience who are looking to gain exposure to healthcare technology and medical device implementations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment, installation, configuration, and testing of medical technology and related equipment throughout hospital departments.
• Set up, connect, and verify functionality of devices according to established procedures.
• Support equipment replacement, upgrades, and technology rollout activities.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure minimal disruption to patient care and daily operations.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, connectivity, and configuration issues during deployment.
• Follow all hospital safety, security, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while working in patient care and clinical environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of IT experience in desktop support, help desk, technical support, field services, deployments, or a related role.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and device connectivity.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and deployment documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
