Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Maintain a secure endpoint environment and provide "Level 2" desktop, mobile, and peripheral equipment support for assigned technologies within the Manitoba health system enterprise architecture.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience working in enterprise information technology providing desktop support with a focus on one or more of the following:
    • Desktop and mobile hardware;
    • Equipment support of peripheral devices;
    • Endpoint management utilities, practices, and client operating system features;
    • Operating hardware tools, components, field-replaceable units and peripheral accessories;
    • Providing onsite support confidential environment.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • A post-secondary diploma in an information technology related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work safely in a computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
  • Interruptions to respond to questions are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled.
  • Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle for regular travel within the province.
