Job Description

We are looking for an Desktop Publishing Specialist to join our Localization Services Team on a temporary basis (6 months).

In this role, you will be responsible for the desktop publishing and production of multilingual localized content, ensuring that translated materials are correctly formatted, visually consistent and ready for delivery. You will work closely with Localization Services, Graphic Design, Project Managers and external partners.

A strong eye for detail, solid graphic design skills and experience working with right-to-left (RTL) languages are essential.

More about the role :

  • Format, lay out and typeset multilingual documents, including user guides and marketing materials.
  • Adapt existing designs to accommodate translated content, text expansion/contraction, font substitution and language-specific requirements.
  • Work with both left-to-right and right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew, ensuring correct text direction, mirroring and typography.
  • Prepare files for internal review, manage versions and accurately incorporate feedback.
  • Perform detailed DTP quality checks, including text overflow, missing characters, fonts, formatting, page breaks, tables, images, hyperlinks, numbering and headers/footers.
  • Manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously, coordinating review cycles with stakeholders.
  • Prepare final files according to specifications and ensure they are production-ready.
  • Support the evaluation of an internal DTP model by tracking effort, turnaround time, rework and quality.

More about you :

  • A degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a DTP Specialist, desktop publisher or multilingual layout specialist.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, with working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proven experience adapting layouts for translated content while maintaining the original design intent.
  • Hands-on experience with RTL languages such as Arabic, Hebrew or Farsi, including troubleshooting RTL/bidirectional layout issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a good visual/graphic design sense.
  • Good project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote, contract-based environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
