Job Description

1. Enterprise Endpoint Networking & Wireless Engineering

• Advanced troubleshooting of enterprise wired and wireless connectivity issues across Windows endpoints.
• Experience diagnosing communication failures between laptops, access points, switches, and network infrastructure.
• Analyzing packet captures using Wireshark and network logs to identify root causes of connectivity issues.
• Determining whether failures originate from endpoint hardware/software, wireless drivers, network configurations, or customer environments.
• Troubleshooting VPN, roaming, authentication, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise wireless connectivity issues.
• Supporting escalated customer incidents requiring deep network analysis and technical root cause identification.

2. Enterprise Endpoint Deployment & Modern Device Management

• Supporting large-scale Windows endpoint deployments in enterprise environments.
• Troubleshooting Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and hybrid endpoint management platforms.
• Resolving Autopilot provisioning, enrollment, and policy deployment issues.
• Supporting operating system imaging, task sequences, driver injection, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with PXE boot processes, operating system deployment methodologies, and endpoint provisioning technologies.
• Diagnosing deployment failures related to hardware compatibility, drivers, applications, and management policies.
• Supporting customers through endpoint lifecycle management from provisioning through production support.

3. Hardware, Firmware & Escalation Engineering

• Investigating complex escalations involving laptop hardware, firmware, drivers, and Windows operating systems.
• Performing root cause analysis through log review, debugging, and issue replication within lab environments.
• Troubleshooting BIOS, firmware, chipset, storage, graphics, and peripheral-related issues.
• Isolating hardware, software, driver, and environmental factors to identify the source of failures.
• Conducting advanced diagnostic testing and validation to reproduce customer-reported issues.
• Reviewing Windows logs, system diagnostics, dump files, and debugging data to determine corrective actions.
• Collaborating with engineering and product teams to resolve high-priority enterprise customer issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Spring, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
