Are you passionate about end user support and want to work for a company that truly cares about their clients?
We are looking for an upbeat and proactive Deskside Consultant for our BC branch located in Vancouver to support our clients on-site in Vancouver! In this role, you will leverage your technical skills and provide an excellent customer experience, while building your experience and growing your career with Long View.
Deploy and support laptops and peripherals for new and existing users, following team standards
Provision Windows 11 devices using Intune Autopilot (no traditional imaging); provide Tier 1 end-user support
Deliver clear, professional communication with customers, stakeholders, and service providers
Troubleshoot and resolve deskside issues, escalating and tracking incidents as needed
Mentor and support less experienced team members, both on-site and remote
Ensure compliance with client IT security, technology standards, and service practices
Follow and model Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and safe work practices
Support office technology such as printers, AV, video conferencing, and meeting room equipment (nice to have)
Participate in regional IT team collaboration to ensure consistent service delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement in end-user support, service quality, and customer satisfaction
5+ years of IT support experience, including experience supporting a Microsoft environment in a Desktop Support Role
Knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, remote access tools
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
Experience with:
-> Microsoft Office O365
-> Remote support
-> PC / printer hardware / VPN / Citrix
-> Active Directory
Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately and work to resolve them
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Post-secondary education in a related field
CompTIA A+ Certification
Microsoft Certifications
