Designer / Sales Coordinator

Compensation
- Base Salary: $75,000
- Commission: 2% of project sales
- Paid Weekly
We are seeking an experienced Designer / Sales Coordinator to lead clients through the design and sales process for kitchens, baths, cabinetry, flooring, and interior renovation projects. This role combines design expertise, client relationship management, and sales coordination to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through design selections, finishes, layouts, and project scope.
- Create cabinetry designs, layouts, and renderings using 2020 Design software.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and field measurements.
- Develop accurate project scope documentation and coordinate with estimating.
- Collaborate with project management for seamless project handoff and execution.
- Build strong client relationships and maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Meet annual sales goals while supporting company profitability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in custom cabinetry, kitchen & bath design, or residential interior design (10+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with 2020 Design software.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry, finishes, and residential remodeling.
- Ability to read blueprints and architectural plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in design-build or remodeling environments is preferred.
Commission Structure
- 1% paid at project signing.
- 1% paid quarterly based on project profitability.
- At $4M in annual sales, commission earnings are approximately $80,000.
Work Environment
- Office and showroom-based position.
- Frequent client interaction in showroom and on-site.
- Opportunity to work on high-end residential renovation and design-build projects from concept through completion.
