Your Role
As aGensler Interior Designer working in our Denver office, you will design innovative corporate interior environments that are both purposeful and inspiring. You will combine design creativity, technical rigor, and an understanding of business needs to deliver thoughtful workplace solutions for a range of clients. Working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team,you’llcontribute to a culture of design excellence while creating engaging spaces that support how people work today—and howthey’llwork tomorrow.
What You Will Do
Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, spaceplanningand construction documentation
Participate in theselectionand presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
Creates initial concept packages witha strong designstory, to guide the design process through project completion
Conducts programming efforts through space planning studies to arrive at final approved plan thatmeetthe goals of clients
Sculpts interior spaces as a holistic experience including specification of furniture, lighting,artworkand finishes/materials
Leads day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines, manage communication and coordination with clients and consultants
Communicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
Participates in the construction administration of projects - including review of submittals and finish samples as well as value engineering efforts tomaintaindesign intent
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecturefrom an accredited school
NCIDQ Certification or Architecture licensurepreferred but notrequired
5 - 8 years of professionaldesignexperience
Commercial experiencerequired; Workplace and Corporate Interiors preferred
Proficientin Revit, SketchUp, 3D and other modeling software programs
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas (3D and 2D)
Think three-dimensionally with great attention to detail
Excited to be an active participant in a vibrant design culture
Have a growth mindset

**Compensation is based upon experience and estimated range is $75,000 – $100,000 annually + bonuses + benefits
This is not a remoteor hybridposition. The successful candidate will be expected to live in orrelocateto the Denver, CO area.
