This role is about credibility, follow-through, and ownership, not transactional selling or quick wins.

What You’ll Be Responsible ForDesigner Relationships & Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain long-term relationships with interior designers, builders, and trade partnersBecome a trusted extension of your designers’ businesses — someone they rely on for clarity, responsiveness, and solutionsGrow and manage a portfolio of active design relationships over time
Project-Based Sales & SpecificationSupport appliance selection and specification for custom homes and renovations.Manage projects from early planning through order placement, delivery, and post-sale follow-upTranslate design intent, technical requirements, and budgets into accurate, well-structured orders
Coordination & Problem SolvingWork cross-functionally with logistics, service, purchasing, and admin teams to move projects forwardAnticipate challenges related to lead times, changes, and installation constraintsProactively communicate, course-correct, and keep projects on track
Brand & Community EngagementRepresent Trail Appliances as a professional, reliable partner in the design communityParticipate in curated designer events, learning sessions, and industry initiativesContribute to a team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking ForExperience in sales, design, construction, appliances, or a related industryPrior experience working with interior designers, builders, or trade professionals is a strong assetComfort managing detailed orders, systems, and documentationStrong communication, organization, and follow-throughResilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, project-based environment
