Your Role
As a Mid Level Designer at Gensler’s San Francisco office, you will collaborate with Design Directors and project teams to support the development and delivery of interior design projects from concept through construction administration. You will contribute to translating design intent into accurate 2D and 3D drawings, models, and visualizations, while assisting with coordination, research, and resolving design or technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers increasing autonomy, balanced with close collaboration and guidance from senior team members.
Our work spans a wide range of practice areas, including workplace, sciences, aviation and transportation, education, hospitality, retail, and technology. From tenant improvement and retail environments to large-scale urban developments and complex architectural projects, you’ll be part of a collaborative, mentorship‑driven culture that supports continued skill development and professional growth while creating environments that are inspiring, resilient, and impactful.

**The base salary will be estimated between $85,000-105,000, plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
This opportunity is designed for on-site collaboration, offering the chance to engage closely with our team and projects in person. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role at this time.
