This role develops or adapts products and artworks while taking into account the customer's expectations (aesthetic, current trends, country's values, etc.), production capabilities, market standards and methods of protection against counterfeiting and falsification.
Creates the design of the document or product
Remains up to date on trends, new secure design technologies and solutions that can be incorporated into new and existing credentials design
Ensures the design thinking and correct choice of materials is used to fully meet customer's expectations and to be in line with country or regional specific restrictions
Synchronizes between production methods with what can be achieved and what can not
Synchronizes with the printing, personalization team and customer's needs
Updates documents on long-term contracts
Aligns with marketplace or standards
Keeps awareness to provide defense against evolving threats
Creates or provides help with the design of the document or product
Works in autonomy
Keeps up to date with product specific manufacturing principles and capabilities
Keeps up to date with regulatory standards, specific to the product being designed (financial, ID documents…)
Holds a high level of competency with the different, relevant software
Possesses a Prepress or Printing understanding
